Living Latin in Rome

Last summer, I immersed myself in the language, culture and history of Ancient Rome through a program called “Living Latin.” I took part in seminars taught almost exclusively in Latin and visited all the ancient sites that I have studied, from the grotto of Tiberius to the Ostia Antica. I recited poetry at Horace’s villa and performed a Ciceronian speech at the Forum. On top of all that, I combined my two loves: classics and photography.
